About
I’m Illia Luzan, a product designer in Kyiv. For the last three years I’ve been the only designer on client products, owning everything from the first brief and user flows to final UI and edge cases.
Since 2019 I’ve worked at TheRoom, a design studio, on 40+ projects: mobile apps, web platforms, AI products and websites. In parallel, I designed 0→1 mobile MVPs for startups at Appello Software.
From 2020 to 2023 I led the studio’s design team. I mentored six designers, ran design reviews and presented our work to clients.
Many of my projects started with little more than one idea. From there I shaped the whole product: the core concept, the visual language and the smallest interface details.
I use AI throughout the design process, from research to handoff, and it has made every stage of my work faster.
I’m a perfectionist about details, but I know good products are built in iterations: improve, test, refine, and repeat.
